Hole-by-Hole Description
(Click on the indivdividual
hole to its description)
Hole #1
Favor the right side of this wooded
dogleg. Driver may not be the best choice, as the
landing zone gets
tight. Sloping green from back to front and quick
in the front right.
Hole #2
A drive in the fairway sets
up the hole. If laying up, play down the left side
to avoid trees and get
the best angle to hole. Large bunker on the right
and long is not a great option. Hole #3
Bunkers and evergreens
guard this dogleg right. Longer hitters may challenge
the bunkers for short
approach. Long and narrow green slopes back to
front. Hole #4 Long and demanding hole is well
guarded and difficult to roll ball onto. Bunkers
right leave
a testy bunker
shot. Do not challenge the back pin location
on this two-tiered green. Hole #5 Seemingly easy
downhill hole but hidden bunkers snag many tee
shots. Sloping approach
area is
hard to roll ball onto green, so fly it on.
Green runs
at angle, just play to center. Hole #6 Do not
be fooled by this hole as it plays into the prevailing
wind. Consider one more
club to
avoid the front bunker. Careful of the
Out of Bounds. Overall
a big target. Hole #7
Risk & reward
hole. A big drive may find the green or the water
right, bunker short or Out of
Bounds left. Play the fairway for simple
approach to sloping left to right green. Hole #8
Good birdie hole but careful of three ponds. Play
left of the willow to a blind
fairway.
Favor the
left edge of a generous approach area
for best angle. Front of green is quick. Hole #9 Lengthy
hole plays into prevailing wind. Trees all down
the left so work
the ball
into the right
edge of the fairway. Green is undulating
and has difficult back left hole location.
Hole #10
Hole turns a little right but easy
hole, so enjoy that hotdog and coke from the turn.
Avoid the
fairway bunkers right and green slopes away from
players. Can be difficult to hold.
Hole #11
Good hole that requires a
medium to long iron to elevated green usually into
the wind. Middle of the green
is fine here or even short allows easy pitch. Left
side of green falls away. Hole #12Straight away hole
with trees right and bunkers left. Hit this fairway
to approach this small green.
Large pot bunker right and long is no good. Green
slopes left to right. Hole
#13
A
pretty, downhill hole
with large evergreens and water behind the green.
Hard to get a read
on wind
direction and club selection. Large green
and fairly flat. Slopes back to front. Hole #14Fun hole.
Players looking to reach in two must skirt the
left edge. Careful of hidden
pond and
in course OB. 2nd & 3rd shots play into
prevailing wind. Divided green left and right. Hole #15
Downhill birdie hole with nice landing
area. An accurate drive past bunker will
provide a
short pitch. OB all down left and behind
hole. Green
slopes back to front and left to right. Hole #16
Hole exposed to wind, be careful.
Driving area gets tight, but with wind players
may drive over
bunkers. Approach shots will fall left
on this right to left sloped green. Hole #17Our most picturesque hole is challenging
too. OB and hazard left and trees right
put premium on hitting fairway. Green
is well
guarded and
has
a
false front. Aim for center.
Hole #18 Plenty
of room to bail from OB left. Innocent hole until
the green.
Inverted
bowl shape slopes
heavily back to front. Edges are
tricky, too. Do not go long here or disaster
looms.
